This exhilarating blend of 65% Cabernet Franc and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon articulates the luxurious aromatics and opulent texture that are a trademark of this famed site’s pristine gravelly loam soil. A seductive perfume of graphite, cassis, morello cherries, wild blueberries, fine herbs, and rose petals lead the way to a palate that boasts a silky-creamy texture bursting with perfectly ripe red and blue fruits, graphite, minerals, and a rich, persistent finish.
It is difficult not to be impressed by this extraordinary site. Stretching from the foot of the Mayacamas Mountains to Highway 29, To Kalon is arguably Napa Valley’s most famous vineyard.
